Leaside’s mission is to serve the local community through Christian outreach and the provision of welcoming and modern facilities. Our buildings are open seven days a week for Church and community activities, including dance, art and fitness classes, health education, craft sales, musical events, children’s parties and much more.
On Tuesday mornings we welcome all the community into our buildings for a Bric-a-Brac sale, tea and coffee and the chance to meet with others in a warm space.
For those in need of a friendly ear we have the Listening Place. Originally set up to help those who have been bereaved, we welcome anybody who comes on a Tuesday morning to talk about their loss or share any worries and concerns.
Leasde Under Fives Kindergarten use our main hall during the week. The Kindergarten first began many years ago in the house of a Church member. It moved into Leaside Church Hall in 1994, where it still meets.
